Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Be at least 18 years old
- Ability to continuously move throughout the store during shifts including twisting
- Frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to coordinate and manipulate objects continuously during work
- Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s dress code and policies
- Maintain regular, prompt attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to multi-task and problem-solve
- Strong guest service orientation and competency in sales
- Experience addressing guest concerns and delivering exceptional service
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to handle pressure and adapt to changing situations
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales, service, loyalty, and shrink goals
- Provide exceptional guest service through greeting, engaging, and personalizing recommendations
- Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup, skincare, and product demonstrations
- Book and support in-store services and events to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashwrap displays and supplies
- Train new cashiers and cross-train associates in cashiering
- Support leadership with register functions and associate inspections
- Share and promote Ulta Beauty’s guest loyalty programs and credit
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and store standards
- Protect company assets and minimize loss
- Participate in ongoing training for product and brand knowledge
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
