Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in basic POS technology
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and lead others
- Physical ability to frequently bend, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to maintaining store standards
- Must adhere to company dress code
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver exceptional guest service
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service
- Competency in selling and exceeding sales goals
- Experience in addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Ability to train new hires effectively
- Proficient with basic technology like Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Capacity to react under pressure and adapt to changing situations
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink goals
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing service
- Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience and achieve sales
- Maintain organization, replenishment, and cleanliness of cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures
- Support leadership by completing cashier chat ins and chat outs and exit inspections
- Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about industry trends, products, and services
- Promote the guest loyalty program and credit offers, leading associates to do the same
- Drive cashier accountability in following Ulta Beauty's systems and delivering personalized brand experiences
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code
- Complete register open and close functions as needed
- Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness
- Protect company assets by following safety, loss prevention, and inventory control procedures
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
