Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years or older to hold the position
- Ability to continuously move throughout the store during shifts
- Frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching required
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds often during shifts
- Commitment to maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to adhere to company dress code and professional standards
- Authorization to engage with guests and handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Capable of participating in ongoing training and operational processes with attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and sales
- Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
- Experience exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with point of sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to react calmly under pressure and adapt to changing situations
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail and service sales goals, guest loyalty, and retail shrink targets
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging each guest and personalizing their experience
- Handle sales transactions accurately including refunds and exchanges
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events
- Maintain organization and guest-readiness of cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates
- Lead cashier accountability and ensure compliance with operating procedures and company standards
- Support leadership team with register open and close functions, cashier chat in/outs, and associate exit inspections
- Maintain outstanding store cleanliness and protect company assets to minimize loss
- Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with store team to grow the business
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program and drive credit and loyalty goals
