Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years relevant cashiering or retail experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Proficient with technology such as point of sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to stand and move continuously for long periods
- Capacity to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Commitment to uphold company policies and procedures
- Demonstrated customer service and sales abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Knowledge and passion for guest service with competency in selling
- Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with point of sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle pressure, use judgment, and adapt to changes
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink
- Ensure exceptional guest service by engaging and personalizing interactions
- Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales and guest experience
- Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures in guest-ready condition
- Support leadership with cashier chat ins/chat outs and associate exit inspections
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-trained associates
- Promote guest loyalty programs and lead associates to meet credit and loyalty goals
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and operating standards at all times
- Perform select register open and close functions
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety including cashwrap, sales floor, restrooms, and backroom
- Protect company assets through loss prevention and adherence to inventory control
- Participate in ongoing training and brand education to drive sales performance
- Collaborate across store teams to support business growth
