Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to continuously move throughout the store during shifts
- Ability to frequently bend, pull, push, crouch, stoop, twist, and reach
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds during shift
- Must comply with company dress code and policies

- Proficient with Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to perform well under pressure, use good judgment, and be adaptable
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
- Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services
- Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by pairing them with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales
- Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals
- Take ownership over the replenishment, organization, and maintenance of all cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest-readiness
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests
- Support leadership by completing cashier chat ins and outs, and associate exit inspections as needed
- Stay informed about beauty industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
- Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program including credit and mobile app, and lead associates to do the same
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates in cashiering
- Engage and influence peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Drive cashier accountability in delivering an exceptional, personalized Ulta Beauty brand experience and following system prompts
- Participate in ongoing brand and category education training
- Collaborate with managers and associates throughout the store to help grow the business
- Ensure policy, procedure, and dress code compliance
- Complete all transactions and maintain proper cash controls
- Perform select register open and close functions as directed
- Maintain outstanding store and cashwrap cleanliness and overall store standards
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by adhering to safety, inventory, and loss prevention standards
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
