Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform continuous mobility throughout the store during shift
- Frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
- Ability to coordinate and manipulate objects continuously during shift
- Ability to engage in interactive process for reasonable accommodation if disability affects job performance
Job Qualifications

- Proven ability to delegate, multitask, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service
- Strong competency in selling
- Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Experience training new employees
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store’s retail and service sales goals including omni-channel and guest loyalty
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup, skincare, and product demonstrations to enhance sales
- Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience
- Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest-readiness
- Participate in cashier training and cross-training of associates
- Support the leadership team with cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections
- Regularly update knowledge on industry trends, products, and services
- Promote guest loyalty programs and credit offers
- Drive cashier accountability to maintain Ulta Beauty brand experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code
- Complete register open and close functions as directed
- Maintain store cleanliness and uphold operating standards
- Protect company assets through adherence to loss prevention policies
- Execute other operational tasks as assigned
