Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to continuously move and perform physical activities such as bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Competence with basic technology

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and competency in selling
- Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to react under pressure and adapt to changing environments
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink
- Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services
- Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and service experience
- Book appointments and support in-store events execution
- Maintain replenishment, organization, and maintenance of cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
- Support leadership by completing cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services
- Promote Ulta Beauty’s guest loyalty program and credit options
- Train new cashiers and cross-train associates
- Lead and influence peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Complete register open and close functions
- Maintain store cleanliness and cashwrap standards
- Protect company assets and minimize loss through adherence to loss prevention and safety standards
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
