Job Requirements

Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age to hold the Lead Cashier role
Ability to perform physical tasks including continuous mobility, frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting/moving up to 25 lbs
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
Commitment to adhere to Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and dress code

Job Qualifications

High school diploma is preferred
2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and competency for selling
Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
Proficient with basic technology such as POS systems and Apple devices
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to react under pressure and adapt to changing situations

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and/or services
Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience
Book appointments and support in-store events execution to enhance guest experience and achieve sales goals
Maintain and organize all cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures ensuring guest-readiness
Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates, demonstrating leadership and influencing peers
