Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be 18 years of age or older to hold the Lead Cashier position
- maintain regular attendance
- comply with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and dress code
- ability to handle physical aspects of the job including frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- ability to complete cash wrap tasks including transaction handling and cash control according to company standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
- proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service with competency in selling
- experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- demonstrated record of exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- proficient with basic technology such as point of sale systems and Apple devices
- excellent written and verbal communication
- strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- ability to react under pressure, use good judgment, and be flexible and adaptable
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
- ensure guests receive exceptional service through greeting, engaging, and personalizing service
- handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales and guest experience
- maintain replenishment, organization, and cleanliness of all cashwrap displays and supplies
- support leadership with register open and close functions, cashier chat ins and chat outs, and associate exit inspections
