Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
  • Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
  • Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service
  • Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally
  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
  • Proficient with basic technology such as point of sale systems and Apple devices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment, and be flexible
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals for retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink
  • Ensure exceptional service through guest engagement, product recommendations, and personalized support
  • Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
  • Pair guests with associates for makeup, skincare, and product demonstrations to drive sales
  • Book appointments and support in-store events execution to enhance guest experience
  • Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest readiness
  • Support leadership with open and close register functions and associate exit inspections
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests
  • Train new cashiers and cross-train associates
  • Promote the guest loyalty program and Ulta Beauty app to achieve credit and loyalty goals
  • Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code
  • Ensure compliance with cash control and transaction completion
  • Maintain cleanliness and store standards throughout all areas
  • Protect company assets by following loss prevention and safety procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
