Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age to hold the Lead Cashier position
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance
- Adhere to Ulta Beauty's dress code
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Ability to continuously move, bend, push, pull, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling
- Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Flexible and adaptable with good judgment under pressure
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink goals
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
- Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver unrivaled guest experiences
- Maintain and organize cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
- Support the leadership team with cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections
