Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment, and be flexible and adaptable

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty including credit, and retail shrink
- Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
- Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and service experience
- Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience and meet sales goals
- Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to guest readiness standards
- Support leadership with cashier chat ins, chat outs, and associate exit inspections
- Promote an inclusive environment that supports teammates and guests
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services during work time
- Share loyalty program benefits with guests and lead associates to do the same
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates in cashiering
- Engage and influence peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Drive cashier accountability in delivering a personalized Ulta Beauty brand experience
- Participate regularly in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code
- Complete all transactions accurately and control cash and media at the cashwrap
- Perform register open and close functions
- Maintain store and cashwrap cleanliness and overall store standards
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by enforcing operating procedures
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
