Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hospitality or food service experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work full time or part time with rotating weekends
  • strong customer service orientation

  • ability to handle cash and media control

  • teamwork and leadership capabilities

Job Duties

  • Greets and acknowledges every guest
  • maintains solid product knowledge
  • provides outstanding guest service
  • oversees and authorizes guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks and discounts
  • assures completion of all PoS transactions and proper control of cash and media
  • helps train cashiers and crosstrains other associates
  • helps prepare daily deposits, change and media
  • ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and supports loss-prevention efforts
  • oversees productivity, breaks and scheduling of cashiers
  • communicates performance issues to management
  • maintains front-end supplies
  • provides guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed
  • covers cashier shifts when call-offs occur
  • performs other duties as assigned
