Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cash handling experience preferred
  • availability to work part-time morning shifts Monday through Thursday
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to cover shifts when required
  • ability to comply with company policies and procedures
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cash handling experience
  • experience with catering and food preparation preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to train and mentor cashier staff
  • knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • strong organizational abilities
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and acknowledge every guest
  • maintain solid product knowledge
  • provide outstanding guest service
  • oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, and check authorization
  • assure the completion of all point-of-sale transactions and proper control of cash and media
  • help train cashiers and cross-train other associates
  • assist in preparing daily deposits, change, and media
  • ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss-prevention efforts
  • oversee the productivity, breaks, and scheduling of cashiers
  • communicate performance issues to management
  • maintain front-end supplies
  • assist with guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment
  • cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur
  • perform other duties as assigned
