Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to delegate and multi-task effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service and handle guest concerns professionally
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, lift up to 25 pounds frequently during shift
- Proficiency with Point of Sale technology
- Commitment to maintain store standards and compliance
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Job Qualifications

- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling
- Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Experience exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- Proficient with basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment in ambiguous situations, and be flexible and adaptable
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink
- Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, and recommending products or services
- Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments and support execution of in-store services and events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience
- Take ownership of replenishment, organization, and maintenance of cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest-readiness
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Support leadership by completing cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections
- Stay informed of industry trends, products, and benefits to better serve guests
- Promote the guest loyalty program and credit benefits to guests and associates to achieve credit and loyalty goals
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
- Demonstrate leadership by engaging and influencing peers toward peak productivity
- Ensure cashier accountability for delivering personalized brand experiences and following system prompts
- Regularly participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Complete all transactions properly including cash control
- Perform select register open and close functions
- Maintain outstanding store cleanliness including cashwrap, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, and break areas
- Protect company assets by ensuring loss prevention and workplace safety standards are met
- Execute other operational tasks as assigned
