Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- relevant retail or customer service experience
- open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing and lifting up to 30 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- ability to handle customer complaints and provide service

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all front end areas
- stock check stands with bags and supplies
- assign check stands to scheduled associates
- ensure breaks and lunches are given and coverage is maintained
- follow opening and closing store procedures
- perform overrides as needed
- assist with checking and bagging
- ensure proper promotion of Foodie Club Card
- handle refunds and exchanges
- audit and verify tills during and after shifts
- handle customer complaints
- assist customers with questions and locating items
- complete go-backs
- ensure pricing accuracy on scanned items
- handle money and provide accurate change
- provide exceptional customer service
- apply store policies for checks, gift cards, WIC, etc.
- teach, mentor, and educate front end associates
- provide feedback on performance
- assist with overall store success
