Job Requirements

Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma preferred
Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
Passion for guest service and competency in selling
Experience in addressing guest concerns professionally
Experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires
Proficiency with point of sale technology and Apple devices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Physical ability for continuous mobility and frequent bending, lifting up to 25 lbs
Flexibility and adaptability under pressure

Job Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and competency in selling

Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment in ambiguous situations, and be flexible and adaptable

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink
Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, and recommending products and services
Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and service experience
Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events while delivering on sales goals
Take ownership of replenishment, organization, and maintenance of cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
Maintain prompt, regular attendance
Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
Support leadership by completing cashier check-ins/check-outs and associate exit inspections
Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services and be knowledgeable about their benefits
Share benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests and associates
Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
Lead peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
Drive cashier accountability for delivering exceptional, personalized brand experience and following systems prompts
Regularly participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education
Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
Adhere to dress code
Complete all transactions and properly control cash and media at cashwrap
Perform open/close register functions as directed
Maintain store cleanliness and standards throughout
Protect company assets and minimize loss via adherence to standards and procedures
Execute other operational tasks as directed
