Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous customer service experience preferred
ability to manage cash and media accurately
availability to work full-time Monday through Friday with variable hours
ability to lift moderate weights
ability to stand for extended periods
willingness to cover shifts as needed
compliance with company policies and procedures
legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred
leadership or supervisory experience beneficial
ability to operate point of sale systems
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to train and mentor team members
basic math and cash handling skills
attention to detail and integrity
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Greets and acknowledges every guest
maintains solid product knowledge
provides outstanding guest service
oversees and authorizes guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks and discretion discounts
assures the completion of all PoS transactions and the proper control of cash and media at PoS registers
helps train cashiers and cross-trains other associates
helps prepare daily deposits, change and media
ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and practices
supports loss-prevention efforts
oversees the productivity, breaks and daily scheduling of cashiers
communicates performance issues to management
maintains front-end supplies
helps provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed
covers cashier shifts when call-offs occur
performs other duties as assigned
