Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of bakery experience preferred
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Experience decorating cakes
- Experience preparing pastries
- Ability to read and follow a recipe
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to handle conflict professionally
- Ability to accept constructive feedback

Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling procedures and times for pastries
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Solid communication skills including verbal and listening abilities
- Ability to professionally handle conflict

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the bakery provides
- Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the bakery
- Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Ensures the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Follows production sheets to ensure appropriate inventory levels of pastries and cakes
