Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous casino cage cashiering experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of four hours
- Ability to maneuver through casino floors including stairs or escalator
- Ability to lift, carry, or push a minimum of 40 lbs
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to tolerate secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Strong math calculation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
- Ability to uphold integrity and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Previous casino cage cashiering experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service
- Supervise the operation of the cage during assigned shifts as needed
- Verify doubles and support Cage Cashiers when a supervisor is unavailable
- Exchange coupons, traveler’s checks, and other monetary values for currency
- Manage coin, currency, and chip inventories
- Prepare exchanges for cash advances and wire transfers
- Complete all related paperwork including close out sheets, payment vouchers, chip transfers, jackpots, and variance receipts
- Complete currency transaction reports and multiple transaction logs when applicable
- Issue markers
- Maintain compliance with IGC regulations and department policies
- Assist with shift closings and reconciliations
- Enter data accurately into Casino Management System
- Adhere to key control procedures
- Reconcile bank at end of shift
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guests and business operations
- Serve as a role model at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
