The City of Moorhead Parks and Recreation Department is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as a Lead Building Attendant at the Hjemkomst Center. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Available to work Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Willingness to work occasional weekends
- Ability to perform physical maintenance and landscaping tasks
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or building attendant role preferred
- Ability to operate landscaping and snow removal equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with cleaning and event setup
Job Duties
- Perform various maintenance tasks such as painting and light plumbing
- Conduct equipment maintenance and floor care
- Set up for events at the Hjemkomst Center
- Maintain the grounds using landscaping and snow removal equipment
- Assist with festivals and special events on occasion
- Perform boiler checks when necessary
- Carry out snow removal duties during winter weather
