HELLO BETTY Bethesda is a distinguished restaurant located at Pike and Rose, one of the most vibrant and popular neighborhoods in North Bethesda, Maryland. The restaurant occupies a spacious 3000-square-foot area on the third floor of the Canopy by Hilton Hotel at 940 Rose Avenue. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age to mix/serve alcoholic beverages
  • bartending training and certification
  • 3-7 years bartending experience
  • physical ability to lift 20-40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs
  • ability to stand continuously and maneuver in narrow spaces
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • cash handling proficiency
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to handle stressful situations with tact and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • Bartending training and certification
  • TIPS certified
  • 3-7 years bartending experience
  • must be 21 years of age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop signature cocktails
  • ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to multitask and communicate effectively

Job Duties

  • Set up bar area and maintain cleanliness
  • mix and serve drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
  • ensure guest satisfaction through courteous and professional service
  • manage cash handling, including ringing guest checks and processing payments
  • complete liquor requisitions and maintain compliance with state liquor laws
  • maintain inventory levels and conduct monthly inventory assessments
  • perform sidework duties as scheduled
  • collaborate with leadership on drink recipes and product specifications
  • develop and standardize cocktail recipes and train team members
  • educate staff on cocktail history and service standards
  • act as closing restaurant supervisor in manager's absence occasionally
