Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Five years as a bartender with at least three years in a lead or supervisory role
- TIPS certification preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- Supervisory experience in a bar centered upscale or fine dining outlet
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- Lead daily bar operations with a focus on a high level of service by being the face of Cherokee's bars
- Conduct pre-shift briefings covering daily specials, member preferences, event schedules, and service reminders
- Maintain inventory and oversee ordering through Food track and stock rotation
- Train and mentor staff in service standards and mixology, as well as Cherokee Culture
- Conduct monthly training sessions on mixology and product knowledge including wine and cocktails
- Collaborate with F&B leadership on seasonal menus and events as well as creating and implementing the cocktail program
- Coordinate with banquet and event teams for bar setup and staffing
- Ensure specialty cocktails and wine selections are prepped and available
- Conduct monthly inventory
- Submit requisitions based on par levels and upcoming events
- Track usage trends and adjust ordering accordingly through utilizing menu mixes through Northstar
- Provide personalized service based on member preferences
- Inspect bar setup for cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment functionality
- Greet members by last name when possible while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor
- Ensure all drinks are prepared to recipe specifications and presented elegantly
- Complete closing checklist including cleaning, restocking, and equipment shutdown
- Lock and secure all bar areas
