Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years or more bartending experience in high volume environment
  • Ability to accurately handle register and revenue collections using POS system
  • Knowledge of liquor laws
  • Valid ServSafe Alcohol certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be self-directed
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Two years or more experience bartending in high volume environment
  • Ability to accurately handle register and revenue collections through POS system
  • Ability to meet company standards of excellence in guest service, coworker interaction and uniform standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge or ability to learn about various beer, wine and spirits
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid ServSafe Alcohol certificate prior to working
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Assist Concessions Manager with monthly bar inventory and ordering, including checking for short-dated or expired products
  • Receive bar orders and put stock away using FIFO rotation method
  • Set up bars prior to events
  • Assign bar locations to bartenders for events with manager approval
  • Pull all liquor and record it on event count sheets prior to bartender arrival
  • Oversee event breakdown and cleanup of bars, equipment and supplies
  • Check-out and dismiss bartenders post-event
  • Oversee all bar procedures during events to ensure proper service flow and professionalism
  • Follow and enforce health code standards
  • Report incidents or issues to Concessions Supervisor or Manager
  • Coach staff on alcohol compliance, bar procedures, speed of service and guest interactions
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Take and process drink orders using standard recipes
  • Set up assigned bars and stock all necessary supplies
  • Maintain stock and prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes
  • Greet guests courteously
  • Detect and act upon guest inebriation, escalating when needed
  • Lock up and store beverage products, perform closing duties
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
