Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • high school or equivalent education required
  • minimum of three years high volume bar or food service experience
  • ability to stand and move for up to four hours
  • ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • ability to push and pull equipment up to 250 lbs
  • good communication skills both verbal and written
  • basic computational ability
  • ability to work independently
  • excellent organizational skills
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards

  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • knowledge of alcohol beverage control protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of high volume bar or food service experience
  • supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
  • excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS proficiency
  • knowledge of table and bar service
  • understanding of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
  • Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification
  • must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality, freshly crafted cocktails at high volume with proper technique
  • take beverage and food orders at the bar and suggest menu items to customers
  • assist in directing the craft spirit, wine, and beer programs
  • create craft cocktail menus focusing on classical mixology
  • work with food and beverage director to lower beverage costs
  • ensure proper service standards and guest satisfaction
  • train bartending team on service standards, product knowledge, and technique
  • maintain proper materials and supplies
  • prepare house made spirit infusions
  • build vendor relationships and manage high-quality bar products
  • enforce alcohol beverage control protocols
  • perform cash, credit card, and room transactions accurately
  • maintain bar cleanliness and restock inventory
  • provide opening and closing inventory of spirits
  • secure liquor, beer, and wine products
  • oversee deep cleaning of the outlet and bar safety
  • verify legal drinking age and prevent service to minors and intoxicated persons
  • assist guests and staff professionally with high customer service standards
  • ensure taps, coolers, and appliances are clean and functional
