Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years high volume bar or food service experience
- Supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
- Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull carts up to 250 lbs
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Adherence to grooming and uniform standards
- Regular attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Three years high volume bar/food service experience
- At least one year supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
- Micros system experience preferred
- Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification
- Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication abilities
- Basic computer skills and computational ability
- Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
- Knowledge of table and bar service
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality, freshly crafted cocktails at high volume with proper technique
- Take beverage and food orders at the bar
- Describe menu items and suggest products to customers
- Assist in directing the craft spirit, wine, and beer programs
- Create craft cocktail menu with emphasis on classical mixology
- Work with Food & Beverage Director to lower beverage costs by keeping par levels and preventing spillage
- Ensure proper service standards are met with commitment to guest satisfaction
- Train bartending team on service standards, product knowledge, and technique
- Maintain proper materials and supplies availability and usage
- Prepare house made spirit infusions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships
- Train staff on alcohol beverage control protocols
- Perform cash, credit card, and room transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness standards of bar throughout shifts
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
- Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits
- Secure all liquor, beer, and wine products
- Oversee safety of bar staff during deep cleaning
- Assist guests and staff professionally
- Ensure taps and appliances are clean and functional
- Verify customers' legal drinking age
- Refuse service to minors and intoxicated persons
- Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
