Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • high school or equivalent education
  • three years high volume bar/food service experience
  • one year supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
  • must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • comply with attendance and punctuality standards
  • ability to work varying schedules
  • basic computer skills
  • must be able to stand and move for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education
  • three years of high volume bar and food service experience
  • at least one year of supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
  • Micros POS system experience preferred
  • safe server alcohol and food handlers certification
  • knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality, freshly crafted cocktails at high volume with proper technique
  • take beverage and food orders at the bar
  • describe menu items and suggest products to customers
  • assist in directing the craft spirit, wine, and beer programs
  • create craft cocktail menu with an emphasis on classical mixology
  • manage beverage costs by maintaining par levels and preventing spillage
  • ensure service standards and guest satisfaction
  • train bartending team on service and product knowledge
  • maintain availability and proper use of bar materials
  • prepare house-made spirit infusions
  • build vendor relationships to ensure product quality
  • enforce alcohol beverage control protocols
  • perform cash and credit transactions when necessary
  • maintain cleanliness standards of the bar
  • restock and replenish bar inventory
  • conduct opening and closing inventory
  • secure all alcoholic products
  • oversee deep cleaning and safety
  • assist guests professionally
  • verify customer age and enforce alcohol service laws
  • ensure equipment functionality
  • perform other duties assigned by management
