Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- high school diploma or equivalent
- three years of high-volume bar or food service experience
- one year supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
- Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
- knowledge of basic alcohol beverage control policies and compliance
- ability to stand and exert mobility for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with basic computer systems
- commitment to maintaining grooming and attendance standards
- ability to work varying schedules based on business needs
- must comply with all company safety and operational policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three years of high-volume bar or food service experience
- at least one year of supervisory or lead bartender experience preferred
- Micros point-of-sale system experience preferred
- Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
- knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
- excellent leadership and customer relations skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
- detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills
- basic computer proficiency including Windows OS and MS Office
- knowledge of table and bar service
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality, freshly crafted cocktails at high volume with proper technique
- take beverage and food orders at the bar
- describe menu items and suggest products to customers
- assist in directing the craft spirit, wine, and beer programs
- create craft cocktail menus with an emphasis on classical mixology
- work with food and beverage director to manage beverage costs and prevent spillage and theft
- ensure proper service standards and guest satisfaction
- train bartending team on service standards, product knowledge, and technique
- ensure proper bar materials and supplies are available and used correctly
- prepare house-made spirit infusions
- collaborate with Director of Food & Beverage to build vendor relationships and maintain product quality
- enforce alcohol beverage control protocols
- perform cash, credit card, and room transactions as needed
- maintain and enforce bar cleanliness standards
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- conduct opening and closing inventory of spirits
- ensure all liquor, beer, and wine products are safely secured
- participate in deep cleaning and oversee bar staff safety
- assist guests and staff professionally with high standards of customer service
- ensure taps, coolers, and appliances are clean and functional
- verify customer identification and compliance with legal drinking age
- prevent service to minors and intoxicated persons
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
