Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- safe server alcohol & food handlers certification required
- high school diploma or equivalent
- three years of high volume bar/food service experience
- supervisory/lead bartender experience preferred
- basic computer and computational skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to four hours
- ability to work in extreme temperatures
- ability to work independently and in a team
- knowledge of alcohol beverage control protocols
- maintain neat and clean grooming per Azul Hospitality standards
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- three years high volume bar/food service experience
- at least one year of supervisory/lead bartender experience preferred
- basic computer skills
- good communication skills
- excellent leadership capability

- knowledge of table and bar service
- knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles

- knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality, freshly crafted cocktails at high volume with proper technique
- take beverage and food orders at the bar
- describe menu items and suggest products to customers
- assist in directing the craft spirit, wine, and beer programs
- create craft cocktail and menu emphasizing classical mixology
- work with food and beverage director to lower beverage costs and prevent theft
- ensure proper service standards are met with commitment to guest satisfaction
- train bartending team on service standards, product knowledge, and technique
- ensure proper materials and supplies are available and used correctly
- prepare house made spirit infusions
- work with Director of F&B to build vendor relationships
- train beverage staff on alcohol beverage control protocols
- perform cash, credit card, and room transactions for servers/bartenders
- maintain and enforce cleanliness standards of the bar
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- provide opening and closing inventory of spirits
- ensure all liquor, beer, and wine products are safely secured
- participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
- assist guests and staff professionally with high standards
- ensure taps, coolers, and appliances are clean and functional
- verify customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcohol
- perform all other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
