Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 - 3 years of related experience
- Appropriate license, certification, or permit if applicable
- Open availability to work any shift
- Ability to comply with food and beverage regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years of related bartending experience, preferably in high end establishments or hospitality management experience
- Holds appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and/or service food in the city and state where work will be performed
- Mixology certifications or training desirable
Job Duties
- Create classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware, garnishing drinks and educating customers about the drink menu
- Take orders and serve drinks either directly or indirectly through waitstaff, assessing customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Maintain the bar area, ensuring it is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked, including stocking ice, beverages (beer, wine, liquor), slicing bar fruit, preparing specialty mixers, cleaning glassware, utensils and other bar necessities
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, ensuring the bar operates efficiently, including checking identification of customers to verify age requirements
- May be responsible for training and supervising employees as directed by onsite management
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned which may vary among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
