Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Capability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • Must follow company safety and security policies

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent such as GED
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a related field
  • Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to company standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and maintaining clean work environment
  • Professional personal appearance and hygiene

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest inquiries about the origin, harvest, and style of various wines
  • Check the quality and quantity of all stock and supplies
  • Request all provisions needed for the bar
  • Replenish alcoholic beverages bottle by bottle
  • Communicate the last call at designated closing times
  • Prepare guest drink orders according to specific recipes using measurement systems
  • Deliver, open, and serve bottles of wine and champagne
  • Compute cash register at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, deliver receipts, and secure the cash drawer
  • Obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels and ensure security of cash drawer at all times
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Anticipate the need for restocking and communicate immediately
  • Ensure staff works as a team
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee training
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company assets
  • Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Support the team to achieve common goals
  • Meet quality assurance standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Visually read and verify information in various formats
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
