Job Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the bar
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws
- Oversee bar opening and closing procedures, including conducting end-of-day reports and cash management
- Manage the bar POS system, including troubleshooting issues and implementing updates
- Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff to ensure service excellence
- Create and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment
- Schedule bar staff, ensuring proper coverage during busy periods
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations in coordination with management
- Organize and manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies
- Track and maintain proper inventory levels through regular counts and ordering adjustments
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure product availability
- Develop and recommend seasonal or specialty drink menus in collaboration with the Food and Beverage Manager
- Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintain product knowledge and suggest beverage pairings or recommendations
