Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be available to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must be able to perform essential physical functions of the position with or without accommodation
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and using hands/fingers for extended periods up to 8-10 hours
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in a busy environment
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must tolerate various kitchen environments including high temperatures, cold conditions, and noise
  • Must comply with all health, safety, and licensing standards

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a high-end cocktail environment
  • Multiple tiers of leadership experience including training staff
  • Fine dining experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and modern drink trends
  • Ability to create custom cocktails tailored to guests' preferences
  • Familiarity with premium wine selections, high-end spirits, and luxury garnishes
  • Excellent guest interaction, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High level of personal grooming, poise, and professionalism
  • Commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning
  • Proficient in using modern POS systems and digital ordering tools
  • Previous experience in private dining or events is a plus
  • WSET or CSS certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and inspire a professional bar team
  • Set clear service standards and create a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continued learning behind the bar
  • Maintain and evolve a refined cocktail and spirits program in collaboration with management
  • Create memorable bar experiences through high-touch, engaging hospitality
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and attentively
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, and cost tracking
  • Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and maintenance meet highest standards
  • Coordinate with events and culinary teams for private dining and special occasions
  • Enforce safe alcohol service and adhere to health, safety, and licensing standards
