Job Requirements

  • Some college education
  • Two to four years in a high volume, high quality bar and/or restaurant operation
  • Minimum one year as a bartender
  • Advanced knowledge of craft cocktails and spirits
  • Competent with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with industry standard software
  • Must pass a background check

Job Duties

  • Ensure total guest satisfaction and ensure the finest quality of food and beverage
  • Provide the highest and most efficient level of food and beverage service expected by the guest
  • Hold the lounge team to 21c service standards
  • Constantly seek improvement in self, team, and what we deliver
  • Engage with guests and teammates while on the floor to promote beverage program awareness and sales
  • Cultivate a following of regulars
  • Stay aware of market trends, including economy, creative ideas, and new product
  • Create total awareness of in-house VIPs and review names with staff during pre-service meetings
  • Staffing responsibilities including screening applicants and coordinating scheduling
  • Assist in upholding property alcohol policies and license compliancy
  • Coach employees to work efficiently and maintain high morale
  • Train and develop team through verbal and written quizzes and ongoing education
  • Assist in beverage procurement and monthly inventory management
  • Collaborate with F&B, Sales, and Marketing teams on specialty events and media content creation
  • Curate and maintain cocktail and spirits lists on beverage menus
  • Maintain beverage glassware, tools, and equipment
  • Attend manager and bar meetings
  • Maintain communication through property network and beverage inventory systems
  • Report to work on time and maintain positive attitude
  • Maintain clean, orderly appearance of all F&B operations areas
  • Execute tasks assigned by F&B Directors
  • Embrace new ideas and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances
  • Identify and resolve problem areas
