Job Requirements
- high school degree or in progress of obtaining
- successful completion of a food handler training certificate program (ANSI accredited) within 30 days of start date
- 2 years coffee shop experience, Starbucks preferred
- availability to work varying shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- ability to provide leadership and direction to a team
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to operate POS systems and handle cash responsibly

Job Duties
- provides direction to the team on assignments
- participates in the completion of work tasks and assists the team with complex work tasks or problem areas
- acts as the go-to resource for the team
- provides input into performance reviews, staff training and development, and work assignments
- monitors the completion of work tasks by the team
- executes store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties as assigned
- assists the manager with daily and weekly inventory orders
- assists the manager with developing weekly schedules
- follows operational policies and procedures for cash handling, safety, and security
- creates a positive learning environment by providing coaching and feedback to baristas
- assists in teaching and training new baristas
- may assist in the café as needed
- functions as a barista
