Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous barista or relevant customer service experience
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to support multiple store locations if needed

Job Duties

  • Maintain reliable and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
  • Fill scheduling gaps when able
  • Lead by example with purpose and energy while inspiring others
  • Support and consider colleagues consistently
  • Provide cheerful and helpful customer service
  • Learn new skills and apply knowledge appropriately
  • Address and resolve team concerns promptly
  • Use mastered skills in drink making and food preparation to coach team
  • Maintain vibrant bake case and adjust displays while ensuring cleanliness
  • Guide baristas in effective visual merchandising and store presentation
  • Improve register speed and accuracy by coaching baristas
  • Support baristas in receiving and stocking deliveries with FIFO practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene through regular cleaning tasks
  • Assist bookfloor team with presentation standards
  • Follow loss prevention procedures and de-escalate challenging situations
  • Place accurate food and beverage orders timely
  • Submit accurate monthly inventory and waste logs
  • Coach team in delivering effective food and beverage recommendations
  • Lead focus on key sales objectives and promotions
  • Use cafe training tools to broaden team experience
  • Maintain cafe safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
