Job Duties

  • demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of positions, policies, and procedures, mentor team members and step in to support as needed
  • oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring the accurate operation of the point-of-sale system, managing cash, and making change as necessary
  • address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, in line with department policies
  • maintain effective communication with team members through memos, bulletin boards, shift reports, and meetings
  • train new baristas and offer feedback to ensure proper techniques, customer service, and product knowledge
  • monitor staff compliance with department policies, including confidentiality, POS transactions, cash handling, sales labor reporting, and product up-selling
  • perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
