Job Requirements

  • High school education/GED or equivalent preferred
  • associate's/technical degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
  • five years technical experience preferred
  • SERV Safe certification or equivalent preferred
  • SERVSAFE or FH-efoodcard required
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to team collaboration and customer service

Job Duties

  • Completes and oversees staff in preparing customer orders
  • provides guidance to staff within established policies
  • maintains a clean working environment and follows safety requirements
  • oversees and performs opening and closing duties
  • ensures accurate identification of food through labeling and dating
  • assembles and delivers trays to customers
  • resolves issues or makes recommendations on difficult assignments
  • determines methods and procedures for new assignments
  • coordinates work activities
  • guides team, assigns resources, develops and administers schedules
  • oversees achievement of performance requirements
  • provides day-to-day process and people management
  • assists with new employee training and coaching
  • collaborates on implementation of new department policies, techniques, and instrumentation
  • reviews and updates policy and procedure manuals
  • assists with department budget preparation
  • performs other job-related duties as assigned
