Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous barista experience preferred
- knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- cash handling ability
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
- knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- familiarity with various coffee beans and blends
- excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
- prior cash handling experience
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos
- engage with customers by taking orders and providing recommendations
- create latte art and ensure drinks are beautifully presented
- maintain a clean and organized work area including coffee machines and equipment
- follow health and safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness of coffee products
- upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
- handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- provide friendly and efficient customer service ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued
