Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of banquet cooking experience
- At least one year of leadership or supervisory experience in a culinary environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety, handling, and storage regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of banquet cooking experience
- At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in kitchen settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to read and follow production sheets and BEOs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in culinary techniques including proper knife skills and understanding of mother sauces
Job Duties
- Oversee daily banquet kitchen operations to ensure smooth, efficient food production for all events
- Support the banquet chefs and kitchen staff during prep, service, and breakdown
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Follow BEOs to ensure accurate menu execution for all functions
- Set up and break down banquet kitchen stations before and after service
- Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Demonstrate proper knife skills
