Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years janitorial/custodial experience
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time on hard-surface floor
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to recognize and use simple hand-held, manual and power tools
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

- Ability to operate grounds equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Job Duties
- Supervise and assign duties to grounds keeper staff
- Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve grounds keeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations
- Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments
- Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management
- Perform turf and landscape activities such as dragging the infield for in-game maintenance, raking, tamping and watering the playing field
- Assist with maintenance and repair of irrigation system
- Assist with the set up and removal of batting practice equipment
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs and flowers
- Assist in the placement and removal of the infield tarp during inclement weather
- Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment and the shop work area
