Job Requirements

  • Certification in food safety
  • Proven experience as a baker or cook
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proven experience as a baker or cook is required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Certification in food safety is required
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Job Duties

  • Assign daily work tasks to the food service team and oversee their completion
  • Train staff on food safety, proper cooking techniques, and kitchen responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of foods according to standardized recipes
  • Set up your workstation with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Measure, mix, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and mixers
  • Use various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, and broiling
  • Carefully arrange and garnish food items as per guidelines
  • Ensure proper food storage and adhere to safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor with guests and team members
