Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of bakery experience preferred
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Ability to read and follow a recipe
- Basic math skills to half or double recipes
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have attention to detail and be self-directed
- Ability to accept constructive review and accountability

Job Duties
- Share accountability with Bakery Manager for production levels, product assortment, product inventory levels and product quality
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all products and services the bakery provides
- Maintain appropriate product rotation and inventory levels for the bakery
- Confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to sale items
- Ensure the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets company standards for appearance
- Deliver excellent customer service to all customers
- Follow production sheets and adhere to product rotation to maintain appropriate levels of fresh baked products
