Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of management experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Preferred rink experience

  • Experience in rink operations preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties

  • Assign duties to associates to meet daily facility needs
  • Oversee associates to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline associates to achieve department objectives
  • Promote company values and provide quality customer service
  • Participate in leadership meetings and company sessions
  • Assist with Anaheim Ducks and San Diego Gulls practices and activities
  • Resolve operational problems related to ticketing, reservations, and program enrollment
  • Delegate facility signage setup and teardown
  • Support the execution of special events and programs
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow emergency procedures
  • Ensure facility standards for professional teams are met
  • Operate ice maintenance equipment including Zamboni and edger
  • Manage associates safeguarding public sessions
  • Monitor and delegate rink surface maintenance
  • Report maintenance requests timely
  • Lift and move heavy equipment such as hockey nets and rink glass
  • Distribute cash drawers and manage deposits
  • Complete daily sales and audit reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
