Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of baking experience preferred
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to read and follow a recipe
- Basic math skills used to half or double recipes
- Ability to handle physical demands of the position including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work in a bakery environment with fluctuating temperatures and conditions

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the bakery provides
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for artisan bread counter
- Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all artisan bread products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Ensures the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Follows precise recipes and techniques for mixing, shaping, scoring, and baking of Harmons' artisan breads
- Writes production sheets for other Artisan Bakers
- Teaches, mentors, and educates artisan bakers to help them be successful members of the team
- Provides honest, direct, and constant feedback to artisan bakers regarding their performance and areas of improvement
- Assists with ordering of product related to artisan breads
- Communicates openly and frequently with Store Director and Bakery Manager
