Job Requirements

  • Previous catering sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Strong organization and presentation skills

  • Strong organization and presentation skills

Job Duties

  • Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals
  • Proactively conduct solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients specific to social, corporate, business, or SMERF segments
  • Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to leisure, SMERF, business travel, and/or groups
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality’s established regulations, company standards, catering and meeting standards and related sales metrics
  • Develop a full working knowledge of hotel operations and policies
  • Ensure accuracy and timely generation of the Daily Event List, Banquet Event Order/Guarantee Sheet, and Ten Day Event Schedule
  • Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations
  • Assist or participate in special promotions relating to direct sales segments
  • Attend daily, weekly, monthly meetings and other functions required by management
  • Perform duties as requested by General Manager or Director of Sales
  • Maintain access and control of sensitive hotel areas and information
  • Drive safely on behalf of the company for business reasons
  • Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility
  • Represent the company with sound judgment and professional character
