Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
- Be able to stand for the full duration of the shift
- Be available to work in a 38-degree cold room when necessary
- Be a team player and work well with a diverse team
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written specifications in English
- Possess basic math skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be available for full-time work including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to pay union dues after 60 days
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently and 10+ pounds consistently
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist repeatedly and stand for 8 to 12 hours a day
- Must complete application and orientation process in English
Job Qualifications
- Good attendance
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend and stand for entire shift
- Ability to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- Ability to push in excess of 70 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work around moving parts and wet floors
- Ability to work in hot, cold and wet environments
- Ability to work with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
Job Duties
- Responsible for using floor machine and cleaning work areas, floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramp and equipment
- Also responsible for cleaning kitchen tools, equipment trays, pots and pans
- Empty trash around the building
- Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations
- Use sterilizer and autoclave for international trash
- Assigned to dedicated departments
