Job Requirements

U.S. citizenship
Must have lived in the U.S. for at least three out of the last five years
Maximum age for appointment typically 37, with temporary extension to 40
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances
Meet physical and medical fitness standards
Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as needed

Job Qualifications

One year of specialized aviation experience
Current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with required ratings
Minimum of 1500 flight hours with potential waivers
Compliance with medical certification requirements
Experience in law enforcement or military aviation preferred
Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills

Job Duties

Conduct air surveillance and patrol operations to detect and intercept smuggling activities
Monitor the activities and behaviors of suspect vessels, vehicles, or individuals engaged in illegal operations
Gather, analyze, and refine strategic and tactical intelligence
Assist in search and rescue missions, contributing to humanitarian efforts
Operate and maintain complex aircraft and related systems
Coordinate with other law enforcement entities to support mission objectives
Comply with all aviation regulations and safety standards
