Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Must have lived in the U.S. for at least three out of the last five years
  • Maximum age for appointment typically 37, with temporary extension to 40
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances
  • Meet physical and medical fitness standards
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as needed

Job Qualifications

  • One year of specialized aviation experience
  • Current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with required ratings
  • Minimum of 1500 flight hours with potential waivers
  • Compliance with medical certification requirements
  • Experience in law enforcement or military aviation preferred
  • Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Conduct air surveillance and patrol operations to detect and intercept smuggling activities
  • Monitor the activities and behaviors of suspect vessels, vehicles, or individuals engaged in illegal operations
  • Gather, analyze, and refine strategic and tactical intelligence
  • Assist in search and rescue missions, contributing to humanitarian efforts
  • Operate and maintain complex aircraft and related systems
  • Coordinate with other law enforcement entities to support mission objectives
  • Comply with all aviation regulations and safety standards
