Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred
  • ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed
  • capability to stand for extended periods
  • knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies
  • ability to work flexible shifts as required

Job Duties

  • Removes soiled person protective equipment from laundry bins
  • sorts items and inspects for damage
  • operates industrial-sized washers and dryers
  • sorts laundered items and matches pairs of gloves
  • hangs clean frocks by size on appropriate racks
  • monitors inventory levels of supplies within the supply room
  • stocks bins and cabinets as needed
  • prepares line daily supply carts for production lines
  • uses a computer to document issuance and return of work tools and items
  • interacts with associates by distributing daily PPE
  • monitors frock racks to ensure sufficient supply
  • adheres to all safety procedures including use of PPE and safe operation of machinery
  • reports hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately
  • participates in safety trainings and drills
  • maintains cleanliness in work areas
  • contributes to continuous improvement of safety protocols
  • complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners
  • adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback
