Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a high production laundry
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Understanding and application of workplace guidelines and policies
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate laundry equipment
- Physical capability for lifting bending pushing pulling and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and utilize Personal Protective Equipment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high production laundry is preferred
- Ability to work as a team member creating and maintaining effective working relationships
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to understand and apply guidelines policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Ability to organize work
Job Duties
- Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications
- Operates automatic cart washer and removes linen carts
- Operates flatwork ironer and small piece folders
- Folds linen following predetermined standards
- Processes specialty items
- Responsible for quality control
- Ensures linens meet quality expectations designated by customers
